Training Facilities
Arua
Technical Institute Ragem benefits from exceptional training facilities housed
in modern well equipped buildings. Facilities on-site include a high-tech
automotive training center which includes hydraulic ramps and vehicle diagnostic
equipment and metal fabrication and welding equipment including TIG (tungsten
inert gas) welding kits. The fashion and garment design department has both
treadle and electric sewing machines which include programmable stitching
functions and the woodwork technology department features both traditional hand
crafted skills and the use of machines for wood preparation including electric
cutting and planing machines. An
exceptionally well equipped ICT lab features the latest computers and offers
tuition in a wide range of computer applications.
The
Institute also features a state-of-the-art boardroom with computer projection
facilities, staff rooms and offices.

Student facilities
Students
are well catered for at ATIR.
The Institute has accommodation blocks,
washrooms, a sickbay (with full time nurse in attendance), classrooms, a
multi-purpose/dining hall and a library.
In addition students are actively encouraged to participate in the
social side of Institute life with many clubs, societies and sports events to
enjoy.
